FAQ:
What is Munto?
What is the purpose of this blog?
To allow both new and old fans of this series to share content that have either found or created. While we have pages dedicated to the story and characters of the series, this should be considered a tool for sharing rather than a true website. Perhaps we should call it a “group” of sorts?
Are there any rules for posting material?
Yes, but only a few. All you need to do is keep the material you post both relevant to the blog and clean.
Can I post material that isn’t mine?
Yes. However, you must provide a link that traces the work back to it’s original source. Basically, tell us where you found it. This is done to give necessary credit to the original creator. (In fact, we have a lot of material from pixiv.)
Does Google count?
No. Understand that Google is merely a tool for browsing. However, Google will allow you to visit the source website of anything you find. Use said website as your credit!
I have this great picture I saved to my hard-drive a while back. However, the source I got it from no longer exists! Can I still upload it?
This is a tricky subject. It’s difficult to share something that you can’t credit honestly, and while it’s easy to say something isn’t yours the original creator is cut out of the equation. Some creators have personal websites and hosts that you can link back to, even if the work isn’t there anymore. If you cannot find any source, please name where you originally found it and the creator’s name if you know it. Make it perfectly clear that you cannot find a source for the work.
Can I post something other than fan-work?
YES!
Can I post anything if it abides to the rules?
For the most part, yes. Posts are not limited by certain characters or pairings. Regardless, be sure to post positive material. Anything that constitutes as offensive in nature will be removed. (ie: an essay entitled, “Why Gntarl must die slowly and painfully in the midst of a fire!”)
Can I make a request?
This is absolutely fine, just submit it as a text post.
Why “fuckyeahmunto”?
It’s a Tumblr thing.
What, doesn’t that contradict the whole “cleanliness” aspect of the blog?
Yes and no. Many Tumblr blogs that are dedicated to one specific topic use similar titles to establish themselves. If the title of this blog becomes a problem it can be changed with ease, so for now we’ll keep it as it is.
